Shopping for Thanksgiving Dinner

This is the first year that we will not be in Savannah for Thanksgiving.
So I'm going to try to make the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
I went grocery shopping today for the long list of things needed to prepare
our favorite Thanksgiving dishes. I was there for almost 2 hours-it was crowded and it took me a while to locate some of the items on my list.
We will be having Ham (we are having Turkey for Christmas), Dressing, Sweet Potatoe Casserole, Cranberry stuff, and Nanny's famous pudding.
I am so excited to cook this Thanksgiving dinner-Jason and I have so much to be thankful for!!

We have a lot of our Christmas decorations already up (this is to beat the freezing weather and snow) and we will finish on Thanksgiving. We will probably get our tree on Wednesday so we can decorate it Thursday. Since Emma is due right at Christmas, we will not be traveling to Savannah. This will also be our first Christmas not in Savannah so we are decorating our house for the first time in a long time. We haven't even put up a tree the past couple of years. (BAH HUMBUG) This is the first Christmas season in our new house so we are really excited to get it decorated nicely.

Pregnancy Update::
In the last couple of weeks, I have been having a lot of lower abdominal pain and pain in my left leg-the Doctor assures me this is because of how Emma is laying. This pain makes it difficult for me to be as active as I like but I'm still trying to get my daily exercise and we are anxiously awaiting Miss Emma's arrival.
I have been blessed to have a great pregnancy-hopefully the last month will go by as fast as the first 8. We have everything ready and waiting on her.
I bought her the cutest stocking-now lets see if she arrives before Christmas.

I hope everyone has a great week and remember Thanksgiving is more than just a day off of work--lets remember to be Thankful for what God has blessed us with!!
